It’s just plain sad to see a band like Disturbed is not only still around, but that they can still debut at the top of the charts. In fact, Asylum is the band’s fourth consecutive #1 album. It racked up about 179k in sales (54k were digital).

One year ago today, I was finishing up the cleaning of my old apartment in Florence, KY. Interscope has to be pleased with Eminem’s Recovery. The album tops the Billboard Top 200 for a fourth straight week and its cume now sits at almost 1.5 million copies. Considering that Relapse only sold 2 million total, it’s safe to say that this effort will end up doing better domestically. The album also returned to the top of the UK charts after a quick dip to #2.
