Top 200 debuts:
Eminem leads the Billboard charts for the second week in a row with Recovery. The album adds 313k sales for the week, taking it over 1 million copies sold. The other Top 10 debuts come from R&B singer The Dream at #4 and some horrific bullshit called 3OH!3 at #7.

Believe it or not, the next debut on the charts comes from the Scissor Sisters. Their first album on the Downtown label, Night Work, debuts at #18 with over 18k. Expo 86, the new Wolf Parade album, hits the charts at #48 with almost 8500k. This was also the best selling title on the Vinyl charts, with over 860 copies.

Somehow, there are 5500 people in this country who decided they couldn’t live without a “Best Of” Papa Roach compilation, debuting at #83.

Alejandro Escovedo’s new Tony Visconti-produced album Street Songs Of Love made to #101 in its first week on the charts. Had there not been 100+ street date violations on that release, it would have debuted within the Top 100. Because of the #101 placement on the chart, that put it at #1 on the Heatseekers chart for the week.

More from the Heatseekers (artists who have never had a release in the Top 100) chart:
*Maps & Atlases at #25 with 1200 copies sold of their Barsuk debut Perch Patchwork.

*Digital-only pre-release of Wavves’ King Of The Beach at #39 with only 900ish copies sold. I’d imagine that record has already seen tens of thousands of illegal downloads even though it isn’t officially out until next month.

*Matt & Kim’s “Grand” has sold consistently since its release in January 2009. The album, which is still at #73 on the Heatseekers chart, has sold over 90k.
